For the long-term thinker.
And the opportunity-minded trader.
Start with what you understand. Expand your perspective as your knowledge grows. Every investment belongs in the context of your goals, time horizon, and capacity for loss.
Take an ownership stake in listed businesses. Compare company fundamentals, financial statements, valuations, and sector exposure before you invest.
Explore a basket of securities through a single exchange-traded investment. Compare the underlying index, holdings, ongoing charges, and trading liquidity.
Bring individual positions together with purpose. Review asset allocation, geographic concentration, and how each holding contributes to your overall exposure.
Product availability, account eligibility, execution arrangements, and charges must be confirmed before launch. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or prevent loss.
The company model also encompasses alternative investments. Each opportunity requires its own due diligence, eligibility assessment, investment terms, and approach to liquidity.
Explore agricultural enterprises, food processing, storage, and distribution. Review operating capability, weather exposure, commodity prices, land rights, and the reliability of buyers and suppliers.
Explore agribusiness ↗Consider medical technology, diagnostics, healthcare businesses, and life-science development. Clinical outcomes, regulatory review, intellectual property, funding needs, and commercial adoption can determine success or loss.
Discuss life-science opportunities ↗Assess private enterprises and real-asset opportunities on their individual merits. Examine governance, fees, leverage, valuation methods, exit arrangements, and the legal rights attached to the investment.
Sector focus does not establish product availability. Alternatives may be illiquid, difficult to value, subject to long holding periods, and capable of a total loss. A sector investment may be listed or private; the legal structure determines its specific terms.
The proposed managed service brings research, order handling, and ongoing portfolio review together on your behalf. Individual execution steps may take place outside the client dashboard; clear activity records and updates should keep you informed.
Begin Your Journey↗Create your profile and provide identity, residency, and tax details. Eligibility checks help determine which accounts and products may be available to you.
Review the account terms, risk disclosures, and full fee schedule. Once approved, follow the funding instructions for your chosen account.
Agree your objectives, risk limits, and service mandate. The proposed investment team handles authorised order activity on your behalf, while you review reports and tell the team when your circumstances change.
A headline commission is only one part of investment cost. Review all relevant charges before authorising a managed investment service.
Client ConciergeA share represents an ownership interest in a company. Its price reflects changing expectations about the business, its future cash flows, and the wider economy.
Read the perspective ↗Owning several funds does not always mean broad diversification. Look through to the underlying holdings to understand overlap and concentration.
Read the perspective ↗A market order prioritises execution at the available price. A limit order controls your price, but may remain unfilled. Liquidity and volatility matter for both.
Read the perspective ↗Understand the essentials before you take your next step.
Client ConciergeUnder the proposed service model, withdrawals of eligible, cleared cash are usually instant, but may take a few hours depending on transaction execution, required checks, currency conversion, and payment processing. This is an indicative service expectation, not a guaranteed arrival time.
Funds still invested, awaiting settlement, subject to a hold, or committed to an illiquid alternative investment are not immediately available to withdraw. Asset sales, redemptions, bank delays, or additional review can take longer. Check the available-to-withdraw balance and the status of your request.
Under dornoch’s proposed service policy, an order or trade instruction cannot be cancelled or amended by the client once placed. Review the commitment before authorising it. Placement is not a guarantee of execution or settlement; venue rules and any mandatory legal rights still apply.
Under the proposed managed-service model, the investment team handles order placement, monitoring, and related investment activity on your behalf within your agreed mandate. You do not need to place each trade or see every execution step as it happens. You should still receive activity records, portfolio reports, and a clear route for questions. Delegation does not remove investment risk or guarantee returns.
Investing generally focuses on holding assets over a longer period to pursue capital growth or income. Trading usually involves shorter holding periods and more frequent decisions. Both carry risk, and frequent trading can increase costs and exposure to short-term volatility.
Yes. Share prices can fall, dividends can be reduced or cancelled, and a company can fail. You could lose some or all of the amount invested. Overseas investments can also rise or fall in value because of exchange-rate movements.
Read the fund documentation. Review its investment objective, underlying holdings, index methodology, charges, liquidity, and tracking difference. Leveraged, inverse, and other complex exchange-traded products require additional understanding and can carry substantial risks.
Investment firms typically request your legal name, date of birth, residential address, identity documents, tax residency, and source-of-funds information. Additional experience or suitability questions may apply depending on the account and products.
Personal recommendations require an appropriately authorised service and an assessment of your situation.
