01

The agreement & the firm

1.1These terms describe the proposed investment service operated under the Aster & Co. trading name. A binding account agreement must identify the full legal entity, registered address, company number, regulator, permissions, and relevant contact details before a client accepts it. Those particulars have not been verified for this fictional template.

1.2The agreement comprises the accepted client terms, the signed investment mandate, the applicable fee schedule, relevant product or offering documents, and any service-specific disclosures supplied before commitment. Mandatory law takes priority. Any document hierarchy or conflict must be resolved explicitly in the final agreement; marketing summaries do not override contractual rights.

1.3Browsing this prototype does not open a financial account, grant investment discretion, or authorise a transaction. The draft date is not an effective date for live services.

02

Eligibility, verification & account information

2.1An applicant must have legal capacity to enter the agreement and satisfy the operating entity’s residency, identity, tax, and product-eligibility requirements. Where an account is opened for an organisation or another person, the applicant must establish valid authority and provide beneficial-ownership details where required.

2.2Provide accurate, current information and notify the firm of material changes. Identity, address, source-of-funds, sanctions, and other financial-crime checks may be required before account activation and during the relationship. Additional documents or explanations may be requested through verified channels.

2.3An application may be declined or restricted for a lawful reason. Submission, verification, or receipt of funds does not guarantee acceptance. Any funds received before acceptance must be handled under the applicable legal and payment arrangements, not treated as automatically forfeited.

03

Managed service & your authority

3.1The intended model is a managed investment service. Within a separately agreed mandate, the authorised investment team handles investment decisions, order placement, monitoring, and related activity on the client’s behalf. The final agreement must state whether discretion is granted, which entity exercises it, and which activities require specific client consent.

3.2The mandate must define objectives, risk tolerance and capacity for loss, time horizon, permitted assets, restrictions, liquidity needs, benchmarks where relevant, and reporting arrangements. Authority does not extend beyond those agreed boundaries. Access to an account or acceptance of website terms alone does not create unlimited investment authority.

3.3Individual execution steps may occur outside the client dashboard. Clients should receive understandable activity records, confirmations where applicable, and periodic reports. A missing dashboard entry is not evidence that a trade has occurred. The firm must provide a route to request an explanation or investigate a discrepancy.

3.4Tell the team when your circumstances or objectives change. Changes to a mandate apply only once accepted and implemented under the agreement; they do not retrospectively reverse an existing commitment.

04

Investment scope & alternatives

4.1The company model encompasses listed equities, exchange-traded funds, and alternative opportunities, including agribusiness, medical and life sciences, private enterprises, and real assets. A sector description is not an offer, a confirmed product list, or evidence that every client is eligible.

4.2Each alternative requires specific documentation addressing its legal structure, use of capital, ownership rights, governance, fees, valuation, funding obligations, holding period, transfer restrictions, and exit arrangements. A private placement, fund interest, direct project, and listed share can carry very different rights and risks even in the same sector.

4.3Private or alternative investments may be difficult to value, highly illiquid, concentrated, and capable of total loss. Agribusiness can be affected by operational performance, weather, commodity prices, land rights, and supply chains. Medical and life-science businesses can depend on research results, clinical evidence, regulatory decisions, intellectual property, commercial adoption, and continued funding.

4.4No assumption of a redemption facility, secondary market, guaranteed maturity payment, or instant access to invested capital should be made. Product-specific terms and legal eligibility must be reviewed before commitment.

05

Orders, execution & non-cancellation

5.1Under the proposed service policy, a client cannot cancel or amend an order or trade instruction once placed. Review the commitment, mandate, and applicable terms before authorising placement. A completed trade is not reversed merely because market conditions or the client’s preferences change.

5.2“Placed” must be defined in the final execution policy, including when an instruction becomes committed and how that status is communicated. This policy does not waive any mandatory statutory cancellation, withdrawal, redress, error-correction, or other non-excludable right. It is a service policy, not a statement that all market orders are technically incapable of cancellation.

5.3Placement, execution, and settlement are different events. An instruction may be rejected, expire, remain unfilled, or execute in parts under its terms and venue rules. A quoted price, acknowledgement, or estimate does not guarantee a fill or a particular execution price.

5.4The operating firm must disclose its execution arrangements, relevant venues or counterparties, allocation approach, and treatment of errors and exceptional market events. A later sale or redemption is a separate transaction, subject to availability, costs, market risk, and any product restrictions.

06

Investment risk & performance

6.1Investment values and income can fall as well as rise. You may receive less than invested or lose the entire amount. Dividends, distributions, liquidity, and investment returns are not guaranteed. Diversification can reduce some concentration risks but does not eliminate losses.

6.2Past performance, forecasts, targets, security-price movements, and example outcomes do not reliably predict future results. Any actual performance presentation must identify its period, currency, calculation method, treatment of fees and cash flows, and relevant limitations. No daily profit rate or fixed return is promised by these terms.

6.3Market, issuer, counterparty, liquidity, currency, valuation, operational, and legal risks can affect outcomes. Leverage or complex products require specific permission, eligibility assessment, and disclosures; their availability must not be inferred from this website.

07

Funding, cash & currency

7.1Fund an approved account only through the official instructions supplied by the operating provider. Check beneficiary details, payment reference, permitted currencies, account-name requirements, and any third-party-payment restrictions. Verify unexpected changes through a known contact channel.

7.2A payment receipt does not establish that cash has cleared or is available for investment. Bank processing, financial-crime checks, incorrect references, conversion, weekends, and holidays can affect receipt and availability. Funding methods, minimums, fees, and any holds must be disclosed before use; none are fixed by this draft.

7.3USD is the presentation currency used for the redesigned site’s monetary market figures. It does not mean every underlying asset or cash balance is denominated in USD. Currency conversion, exchange-rate movements, spreads, and charges can affect account value and proceeds.

08

Withdrawals, settlement & access to funds

8.1Under the proposed model, withdrawals of eligible, cleared cash are usually instant but may take a few hours depending on transaction execution, required checks, currency conversion, and payment processing. This is an indicative service expectation awaiting operational validation, not a guaranteed arrival time or an unconditional service-level commitment.

8.2Amounts still invested, awaiting settlement, subject to a lawful hold, reserved for commitments, or locked into an illiquid alternative are not immediately withdrawable. Asset sales, redemptions, bank delays, or additional review may take longer. The available-to-withdraw balance, rather than total account valuation, determines what can be requested.

8.3Review the beneficiary account, amount, currency, disclosed charges, and any verification requirements before submitting a request. A sent status may precede credit by the receiving institution. Contact support with the request reference if the status is unclear; do not assume that an absent dashboard update confirms payment.

8.4No compulsory reinvestment, arbitrary top-up, or additional investment is required by this draft to release an otherwise eligible withdrawal. Any legitimate charge must be disclosed in the fee schedule and applied lawfully. Requests for unexpected release payments should be independently verified.

09

Fees, expenses & tax

9.1A complete fee schedule must be supplied before account commitment. It should identify applicable management or service fees, transaction and venue charges, custody costs, fund expenses, currency conversion, transfers, withdrawals, and any performance fee with its calculation method and relevant conditions.

9.2Review how and when charges are calculated, debited, and reported, and whether third-party expenses are estimates or actual costs. No unspecified percentage, withdrawal minimum, referral rate, or penalty from the legacy template is adopted by these terms.

9.3Tax treatment depends on your circumstances, residence, instruments, and relevant law, and can change. Withholding or reporting may apply. General website information is not personalised tax advice; obtain appropriate advice where needed.

10

Custody, ownership & protection

10.1The final agreement must identify the relevant custodian, broker, cash-holding institution, and any material sub-custody arrangements. It must explain how assets are registered, how cash and securities are treated, and the implications of any omnibus or nominee structure.

10.2No client-money segregation, deposit insurance, investor-compensation membership, or protection limit is asserted for Aster by this template. Actual coverage depends on the legal entity, product, custody arrangement, jurisdiction, and eligibility, and does not generally eliminate investment losses.

10.3The client must receive the applicable custody and insolvency disclosures before funding. No authority to lend, pledge, reuse, or otherwise encumber client assets should be inferred without the required specific agreement and disclosures.

11

Records, reporting & market information

11.1The operating agreement must state reporting frequency, valuation basis, delivery method, and how transaction records can be accessed. Reports should distinguish contributions and withdrawals from investment performance and identify currency and pricing assumptions.

11.2Review records promptly and report suspected errors with relevant references. Any contractual review period must be fair and disclosed; failure to spot an error immediately does not remove mandatory rights. The firm should investigate discrepancies and communicate the outcome.

11.3Website prices may be historical, delayed, or supplied by third parties. The homepage market snapshot states its source and observation date and is not a live executable quote. Information should be assessed for relevance and timeliness before a decision.

12

Account security & acceptable use

12.1Protect your login and authentication credentials, use supported security controls, and contact the firm promptly if access may be compromised. Do not share passwords or authentication codes with anyone claiming to provide support.

12.2Do not use the service for unlawful activity, deception, market manipulation, unauthorised access, or misrepresentation of ownership or authority. Multiple-account arrangements and referral activity must follow disclosed rules; a suspected breach does not automatically transfer ownership of all client assets to the firm.

12.3Restrictions imposed for security, verification, or legal reasons should be proportionate and explained where lawful. The firm’s own responsibilities for security and unauthorised activity must be addressed in the operative agreement; they are not excluded by a general warning.

13

Conflicts, third parties & referrals

13.1The firm must identify and manage relevant conflicts, including remuneration, affiliated providers, allocation decisions, and incentives affecting investment selection or execution. Material conflicts that cannot otherwise be addressed must be disclosed as required before the relevant service.

13.2Any referral programme requires separate, clear terms covering eligibility, calculation, timing, restrictions, and disclosure of incentives. No referral reward or commission is promised by this draft. Referral income must not be presented as an investment return.

13.3Use of a third-party broker, custodian, research source, or payment provider does not by itself remove the operating firm’s legal obligations. Relevant service boundaries and third-party terms must be explained.

14

Personal data & communications

14.1A separate privacy notice must identify the data controller, purposes and legal bases for processing, recipients, retention, international transfers, and applicable rights and contact routes. These terms do not substitute for that notice or create blanket consent to unrelated marketing.

14.2Service notices, reports, and verification requests should use agreed channels. Marketing preferences and any legally required consent should be handled separately. Do not send sensitive documents through an unverified address.

14.3The Data & Privacy Policy is available at ?a=rules. It is a separate draft requiring verified controller details and actual processing arrangements before launch; accepting these service terms does not itself supply privacy consent.

15

Changes, suspension & ending the service

15.1To the extent permitted by applicable law, the firm may amend these terms at its discretion without prior notice. Any amendment remains subject to mandatory notice, consent, fairness, and other client-protection requirements. Changes do not retrospectively alter completed transactions or remove accrued or non-excludable rights. The current version and revision date will be published on this page.

15.2Material changes must be communicated in a durable and accessible form with appropriate notice and any required consent. The operating agreement must specify fair grounds for changes and the client’s available options. Changes should not retrospectively rewrite completed transactions.

15.3Either party may end the relationship under the agreed notice and legal requirements. Ending the service does not automatically cancel placed orders, reverse completed trades, or make illiquid holdings redeemable. The firm must explain how assets, cash, commitments, accrued fees, and records will be handled.

15.4Any suspension or termination must preserve lawful ownership and applicable client rights. No automatic forfeiture of all capital, blanket penalty, or obligation to make a new investment to close an account is established by this draft.

16

Responsibility, errors & service disruption

16.1The final agreement must allocate responsibilities fairly and consistently with applicable law. Nothing in these draft terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable duties relating to fraud, misrepresentation, negligence, or regulatory obligations.

16.2Market closures, system failures, connectivity interruptions, and third-party outages can affect access and processing. The provider should explain contingency channels, incident handling, and remediation where appropriate. An interruption is not proof that an order has or has not executed.

16.3Clients should report errors promptly and retain relevant records. No absolute disclaimer of liability, unlimited client indemnity, or unrestricted right to debit compensation is introduced here.

17

Questions, complaints & disputes

17.1Raise a question or complaint through the official support route, describing the issue, relevant dates, references, and desired resolution. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, or unnecessary sensitive documents.

17.2The operating entity must publish its complaint-handling process, applicable response deadlines, and any independent dispute-resolution route for eligible clients. No specific ombudsman, arbitration forum, regulator, or compensation entitlement is assumed for this fictional firm.

17.3Governing law and competent courts must be specified for the actual contracting entity and client relationship, while preserving mandatory consumer rights and any statutory jurisdiction protections. This draft does not select a jurisdiction or require a waiver of court rights.
